Located 65 miles west of Alamosa and 75 miles east of Durango,
Wolf Creek is located in southern Colorado. Wolf Creeks' claim to
fame is that they get more snowfall each year than any other Colorado
resort. Wolf Creek will often have 100" of settled snow or more
in the prime season (this is a rarity for other Colorado resorts).
Editors Note: Wolf Creek is a little tuff to get to on the
day of a storm due to its location at the top of a pass. However,
it could be the most consistent powder in the state, because of
its incredible snowfall and relatively low skier visits.
